Did You Know?

The word rabies derivies from the Latin word rabere, which means to be mad, to rage, or to rave. In 2004, Jeanna Giese was the first person to survive rabies after being place in an induced coma. Raccoons are the number one carrier of rabies in the wild, while skunks are second and bats are third.
